Laurena Armstead birthed Revelation Music in May of 1994 in her hometown of Port Arthur, Texas. At the time, Laurena was working for a music company in Beaumont, Texas in sheet music research and as a cashier. Laurena begin to get inquiries for a DJ that not only specialized in secular music, but for those that focused primarily on Contemporary Gospel Music and Contemporary Christian Music. The request became a growing interest to many of the customers. The interest became so great that Laurena felt she had to do something to respond to the customer’s need. Laurena then began to contact local radio stations and attempted to get local radio personalities to book those events. Unable to get radio personalities to commit to doing them, Laurena ended what seem to be an endless search and stepped up to begin to research the business and founded Revelation Music.

Today there are as many genres of music in the Christian Music market as there are in secular markets. It has been a blast watching it all unfold over the past 20 years. It has been just as much fun dealing with the great challenge of keeping up with it all. Now Revelation Music is poised to bring fresh revelation to a world audience. Our commitment to you is to bring music, via the Internet, by not only well-known artists, but artists seldom heard.

Our mission is to promote Christian artists and their music, making available to you an alternative sound to secular music.

There is an endless stream of talented artists with great music to which many an audience simply just have not been exposed. By launching the net radio program, our goal is to inform and to educate the world of this creative sound.
